Our vision is a world where equal protections and opportunities exist for all through advocacy, community education, and faith-based organizing. We are committed to providing support that opens doors, raises awareness, and creates life-giving change.
Celebrating 15 Years of Justice and Progress
As we celebrate our remarkable 15-year anniversary in 2024, we find ourselves reflecting on a journey that has taken us from humble beginnings to the forefront of transformative change. Our organization's formative years were marked by the diligent planting of seeds, establishing the very bedrock upon which we now stand, poised for a profound and enduring impact. This solid foundation empowers us not only to influence the cultural landscape of North Carolina but also to radiate our message of empowerment and equity well beyond our state's borders.
However, our commitment to growth doesn't end with the laying of a strong foundation; rather, it fuels our dedication to continually evolving. We recognize the ever-changing nature of our world and the evolving needs of our community. Collaboration is the keystone of our work, with a deep commitment to working closely with other social justice organizations. We place a particular emphasis on championing justice, equality, and protection for the LGBTQ community, with a central focus on the most marginalized within this community.

We intentionally and enthusiastically celebrate the full spectrum of human experience, weaving the threads of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith, age, and class into the rich tapestry of our shared humanity.

We are firm in our conviction that educating our community isn't sufficient; it's vital to empower them with the necessary tools for genuine change. Our educational initiatives are designed to foster enlightenment and readiness, enabling people to actively engage in social and political processes.
Advocate
We are dedicated to advocacy, placing a central focus on LGBTQIA+ issues, combating voter disenfranchisement, and promoting equal protections under the law, and we actively engage in close collaboration with other like-minded organizations within the social justice realm.
