Define American Film Festival

The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture is proud to present the second annual Define
American Film Festival. Audience-goers, journalists and strategic partners will get an entertaining and
informative look at the immigrant experience across a range of cultures. Each screening will be followed by panel discussions featuring filmmakers, actors, and local advocates.

Parking: First two levels below the Duke Energy building, 400 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC. Discounts are
available to guests when you bring your parking ticket to be validated. There are also parking lots and garages
in the area.

Tickets to individual screenings are only $5 each or $25 for a full festival pass.
The Freedom Center is excited to be an official partner in DAFF. Bishop Tonyia Rawls will be moderating the panel discussion on Saturday, May 13, 1-4pm, following the screening of Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America, which was filmed in North Carolina.
